"I Saw You"

A 5-episode mini-series born out of a sermon that wouldn't let go. Rooted in the moment Jesus saw Nathanael under the fig tree, this series explores what it means to be seen by God in the ordinary, hidden, unperformed parts of your life — long before you have anything to show for it.

Episode 2 - You Were Known Before You Were Called | I Saw You

Someone used by God doesn't have to have all the answers. Philip didn't. He just showed up and said, "Come and see." In this episode, we look at what Jesus chose to say when Nathanael came toward Him — and why He didn't bring up the question, the hometown, or the reputation. He called out character. The real him. Plus a personal story about a conversation with God at the lowest point — and the answer that changed everything. 📖 I Saw You: 21 Days Under Your Fig Tree devotional coming soon.

Episode 1 - I Saw You: The Fig Tree Moment, What It Means to Be Seen by God

In this episode we go to John 1:47–48 and unpack what it means that Jesus saw Nathanael under the fig tree before anything notable had happened. Nathanael wasn't performing. He wasn't in the temple. He was just there — in a private, ordinary moment. And Jesus had already been watching. This episode is for anyone in a hidden season who has wondered if God sees them when there's nothing to show for it yet. God does not require performance before He pays attention.

Trailer - I Saw You | DeNight Owl Speaks

This series started as a message being prepared for church. But before it was preached to anyone else, God preached it first — through a single scene in The Chosen and two words that stopped everything: "I saw you." That became a sermon. And almost a year later, people are still bringing it back. So it's coming here. I Saw You is a 5-episode mini-series rooted in John 1:48. It's about what it means to be seen by God in the ordinary, hidden, unperformed moments of your life — before you have a testimony, before you have it figured out, before anyone else is watching. "I Saw You" - My Fig Tree Moment

An earlier reflection on the fig tree moment — the private, unseen place where Nathanael was found by God. This episode explores what it means to wonder if God sees you when there is nothing to show for it yet, and what the fig tree teaches us about hiddenness and divine attention.

"I Saw You" - Reflections After Preaching

In this episode, Nathifa goes behind the pulpit and into the heart of the sermon "I Saw You" — sharing the writing process, the spiritual wrestling, the emotional weight of telling her story again, and the unexpected way God moved after the message was preached. This is the reflection, the aftermath, and the deeper revelation of the fig tree moment that shaped it all. Some messages don't end when the sermon does. They linger in the heart, in the throat, in the places where God speaks softly after obedience.
